In the early 1990’s, I took a beading class with my good friend, Rosalie. Aside
from a few small gifts, I never did much with
the knowledge.
I was diagnosed with MS in 1996, lost my ability to practice optometry and began searching
for something of meaning to occupy my time.
With the passing of my father in 2002, my mother desired a set
of crystal rosary beads. My brother, Marc, undertook the search and found nothing suitable. I offered my services
and wired an incredible set of rosary beads from vintage Austrian crystals and 14 karat gold.
From that point on I studied the metaphysical properties that God imbued stones with. I fashioned
rosary beads for the special people in my life with stones to help them with their needs.
An
artistic talent that I never thought I had began to bloom; jewelry and gifts followed the making of rosary beads.
With my husband's suport, I have been able to expand my designs and venues.
I
am truly blessed.
